Big Yellow Bus PLUS Events Response Log

The log entries will document many different types of performance...leading to work that corresponds to the GSE's.  Academically, the log serves as a sample of informational writing (State Assessed End of Grade 10), a step along the way to preparing a report/critical essay for Arts Passport...or numerous other creative products.

GSE's Written and Oral Communication  Informational Writing:  Reports, Procedures or Persuasive Writing
W-12-8.2  In informational writing, students demonstrate use of a range of elaboration strategies by including sufficient details or facts for appropriate depth of information:  naming, describing, explaining, comparing, contrasting, or using visual images to support intended purpose.

If GSE's in other disciplines need to be cited, we suggest you refer to Dance, Music, Theatre, VAD---Aesthetic Judgment, Artistic Process, Communication, or Cultural Context  for an appropriate standard.

The Big Yellow Bus Plus Attendance Log is designed to help students keep track of field trips as well as the details of performance, reflection, and critique that help students create new art or respond critically.  It is a good idea to prepare a log entry for every field trip...with a special focus on events that are likely to help students complete a task from THE STUDENT TASK LIBRARY, a teacher-made assignment, or a student's own art or writing.

Methods / Materials: 

Go to Honors Program in the Menu and click on TOOLS.  Choose LOG.   WE NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE LOG FORM INTO THE TASK LIBRARY!!!!!
